Hi Jennifer,Yes, it uses a refrigerant gas (R290 propane), but it’s sealed inside the unit, so it doesn’t get used up or need refilling like fuel.Thanks!

Hi Lee,It has an internal water collection tank, but you usually don’t need to empty it manually because it mostly evaporates the moisture during normal use. If excess water builds up in humid conditions or dehumidifier mode, it can be drained either into the internal tank until it fills or more conveniently through a drain hose for continuous drainage.Thanks!
