Question from ElectricIQ industrial dehumidifiers: Asked on 28/01/2026 ElectricIQ 30l dehumidifier. I see this comes with continuous drainage but I do not understand the practicality of the following clause in the manual "IMPORTANT: Do not leave on continuous drainage or continually running when you are not present." Surely it is not practical to stay with the machine at all times and why would you need continuous drainage if you were always in attendance. Does the same apply to both the 30L and 50L models ?
Also please confirm you can set the machine to permanently run and be controlled by the humidistat - ie not just for 24 hours but ongoing
Hi, The electriQ 50?L dehumidifier (ECD50) supports continuous drainage and can safely be left running unattended as long as the drain hose is correctly positioned. Its built-in humidistat automatically maintains your desired humidity indefinitely, so the unit can operate continuously without supervision. The 24-hour timer is optional and does not limit ongoing operation.
