Hi, The electriQ Platinum CD25PRO-LE is designed to operate in room temperatures between 5 °C and 35 °C.

As this is a compressor-based dehumidifier, its moisture extraction efficiency reduces significantly when temperatures fall below 15 °C.

We advises that the unit performs most effectively in environments maintained between 15 °C and 32 °C.

In colder rooms (between 5 °C and 15 °C), the unit may run but will remove very little moisture and may frequently enter automatic defrost mode.

If the room temperature drops below 5 °C, the dehumidifier will automatically stop dehumidifying until the temperature increases.

It can be controlled through its own app, as well as via Alexa and Google Assistant, but SmartThings integration is not officially listed. However, you can still automate it in SmartThings indirectly by using a SmartThings-compatible smart plug to control its power, or by creating routines through Alexa, Google Assistant, or IFTTT.Thanks!

Hi, The dehumidifier’s main mesh filter can be washed or vacuumed, but the HEPA and carbon filters cannot be washed — you can only vacuum them lightly. The carbon filter usually needs replacing after about 1 to 1½ years, and the HEPA filter should be replaced every few months to keep it working well. Always make sure the mesh filter is in place when using the unit.

The 10-minute wait applies only when the unit has been completely turned off and you want to restart it, not when changing modes.
