Hi, this dehumidifier can either collect water in its tank or use a hose for continuous drainage. For the hose option, the water must drain by gravity into a suitable drain point, such as a sink, floor drain, or outside. In an enclosed room without a drain, the hose cannot be used, so you would still need to empty the water tank manually. Thank you.
