Useful Information:
1 BTU is the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of one pound of liquid water by one degree from 60° to 61° Fahrenheit at a constant pressure of one atmosphere. As a general rule we advise you to buy an Air Conditioner with a minimum 7,000BTUs as this is the minimum required to cool a small room (18sq/m) on a hot day. Medium rooms (24sq/m) need around 10,000BTUs and larger rooms and office spaces (36sq/m) require around 15,000BTUs.

Question from Vien Ly: Asked on 15/07/2013 Hi, for a room which averages a humidity level of 48-55% how often would water need to be emptied from this unit? I am interested in buying one but having to empty the water tank every couple of hours would put me off. Thanks

Question from Splaf: Asked on 02/07/2011 I am trying to guage what impact this will have on our electricity bill. It would only used when temp is 22C+.
Last week when temp rose to 30C we probably would have had it on for 24h. We would set thermostat for 20-22C.
