Hi, The Argo OdinPlus 12000 BTU Smart Portable Air Conditioner with Heat Pump should only be used with the original supplied exhaust hose, and we do not recommend extending it or using a longer hose, as this can reduce cooling performance, restrict airflow, and put extra strain on the unit; for best results, the appliance should be positioned as close as possible to a suitable window using the supplied window kit.
