This air cooler cools the air by means of evaporation. When cool water evaporates into the air, the result is a mixture of cold air and mist. This slim and stylish, portable model is ideal for creating a comfortable cold air breeze through your home or office.
How does it work?
It is incredibly easy to use. All you have to do is fill the large 56 litre water tank with water, or if you want an even cooler breeze you can fill the tank with ice. Once you have filled the tank all you have to do is turn the machine on, choose which of the 3 fan speeds you want the machine to run using and the cooler will deliver an even level of cooling.
Take a look at the diagrams below to understand how the evaporative cooler works. It’s extremely simple, warm air is pulled from the back of the machine through the wet honeycomb pad, water evaporates cooling the air and pushed out of the front of the cooler using a fan creating a comfortable cool breeze. The water evaporated from the pad is than replaced automatically with cold water from the tank.

The Techie Stuff
WINTER-i is an evaporative air cooler cooling the air by means of evaporation. When water evaporates into the air, the result is a mixture of air and water molecules. This chemical change requires heat which is taken from the water molecules, resulting in a spot cooling effect, the temperature drop. The air is passed through a special honeycomb cooling pad which expands the evaporation surface and improves the cooling effect while doubling as an air filter. The evaporative coolers must be used in rooms or spaces where is good ventilation or the room will get saturated with humidity and the effect of cooling will stop.
Evaporative cooling occurs to every one of us, perspiration is the way our body reduces its temperature by evaporation when we are too hot.
