Why is the Breast Cancer Campaign's work important?

Breast cancer research has made considerable progress over the last two decades and vital work is still underway. Past research has resulted in improvements in quality of life and survival. However, one woman in nine in the UK will be diagnosed with breast cancer during her lifetime. Each research project funded by the charity brings us a step closer to beating breast cancer.

Wear it Pink is a fun and easy way to donate to the Campaign and help fund breast cancer research.

Where does my Wear it Pink donation go?

Breast Cancer Campaign uses all Wear it Pink donations to fund innovative, world-class research throughout the UK and Ireland to understand how breast cancer develops, which will lead to improved diagnosis, treatment, prevention and cure.

The charity currently supports around 130 projects worth £15million in 43 centres across the UK and Ireland.

Competition

To show our support we will be holding a 'Name the Bear' competition in the showroom here in Huddersfield. If you are local and feeling lucky come on down and take part. The winner will get to take home the bear and a Pink Samsung N150 Netbook! Come to our showroom on Leeds Road and the bear will be sitting here waiting for someone to pick it's name. This competition will run from the week commencing 11th October until the 29th October. This will be when we make the draw.

Whatever we raise through customer & staff donations our MD Nick Glynne has kindly agreed to DOUBLE…!!! (Please note: several staff fainted upon hearing this!)
