Yes, all air-conditioners need to vent hot air and moisture, outdoors ideally, although anyway that can deal with that influx of water, so bathrooms have been used in the past.

Hi, yes, anywhere really that can accommodate the hot air and moisture that will be vented into that area.

Recently a customer decided to run the hose into their bathroom, again a room designed to deal with an influx of moisture.

No, any air/con needs to vent all the hot air and moisture out.

You want an air-cooler, which is similar to a fan but with cold water or ice to make it cooler.
