Evaporative Air Coolers are a great way of cooling a room without the expense of buying a traditional Air Conditioner. They are much quieter (perfect for bedrooms or studies), consume less power and don't require a hose to vent so are ideal for rooms which don't have external windows. They are also perfect for people wanting moisture to remain in the air (eg. some sufferers of Asthma don't want the air to be too dry) as traditional air conditioners also dehumidify.

For greater cooling, most of our models come with an internal freezer section which can be removed, placed into a freezer and then put back in again chilling the air even further. This type of cooler uses less than a third of the power of a portable air conditioner and can be over 75% cheaper to buy.

The main advantage of using an air cooler is that fresh air is continuously drawn in from outside whilst the warm air is pushed back out of the windows, whereas air conditioners recycle the same air over and over, cooling it further on each cycle.
